Guiness Beer Birthday Cake The Guiness Beer cake was created as a birthday cake for a beer-loving friend who happened to be in town for the All American Beer Festival in Denver.

Guiness Beer Birthday Cake The cake is about 20" tall and features hand-painted "Guiness Swirls". The cake also features a fondant napkin with a fictitious waitress's phone number written in simulated lipstick.  The cake was a chocolate stout cake--of course--made with Young's Double Chocolate Stout, and filled with chocolate ganache.  The "beer foam" on top was a rich vanilla bean buttercream.
