The Sunset Cake was created on or around 2009-05-22.

Sunset Cake The sunset cake was created for a 30th birthday party.  It was a Red Velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream filling.

Sunset Cake It features a multi-colored buttercream icing gradient (smooth transitions between colors) and numerous chocolate pieces made using the same techniques as the Cowboy Birthday Cake, the "Ode To Colorado" cake, the Chocolate Face Cake and others.  The sun was created using the template from the Hansen's "Whimsical Bakehouse" book.
